Blazer Jobs is seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time, school-based position in Leonardtown, Maryland for the 20252026 school year. About the Role
As the Occupational Therapist, youll work collaboratively with educators, parents, and support teams to provide therapy services that promote independence, fine motor development, sensory processing, and participation in classroom activities. This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy building meaningful relationships with students and contributing to a positive school culture.
Key Responsibilities

Evaluate students and develop individualized therapy plans in alignment with IEPs

Provide direct therapy sessions and classroom-based support

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary staff to ensure student progress

Maintain accurate and timely documentation per state and district requirements

Participate in IEP meetings and professional development activities
Qualifications

Active Maryland Occupational Therapy License (required)

Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred

Strong understanding of IDEA and IEP processes

Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills

This full-time position offers a competitive hourly rate of $40$48, depending on experience and credentials.
